Topics covered include advanced hairline design, seamless blending techniques,  colour theory and scar camouflage which will elevate your Scalp Micropigmentation business.

How does it work?

Online Theory

Your industry theory portion of the course will be completed ONLINE prior to your in-person sessions. Theory includes anatomy of the scalp, hair loss causes and types, medical applications, micropigmentation, color, technique, density, health and safety.

In person workshop

Day 1 is focused on advanced workshops and observation including theory, hand technique, density workshops, hairline design, and live treatment observation.

Emma will be your guide as you dive into the practice of self inquiry,  asking ourselves questions to gain insight into the thoughts, emotions and behaviours that could be holding us back.

Hands on practice

Days 2,3 &4 you’ll perform hands-on supervised work with real models of varying hair loss types. Marketing your business, financial strategy, and pricing. 

Emma has set up specific daily assignments and homework that she knows will help ensure you have everything you need by the end of your training.  
Then its graduation time!

Investing in yourself

I was once in your position looking at a screen deciding whether I should invest in myself. I know the doubts that circulate. 
Is this a wise investment.
We've just got a new mortgage. 
We're expecting a baby. 
Will I be any good. 
Will I fail. 
This is totally normal. The unconscious mind is always trying new ways to keep us safe in the hope we stay in comfortable, familiar grown. BUT we all know nothing grows in your comfort zone and so I'm here to bulldoze through the intrusive thoughts and tell you, you are absolutely WORTH investing in. 

Through this course you will learn all the hands on skills needed to become your own SMP artist, work on real models whilst focussing daily on the mindset shift that your new entrepreneurial identity will thrive on. 

We will unpick limiting beliefs, look at ways you can incrementally change your schedule to adjust whilst you are in the start up stages of business and push past fears of being seen all with my support and guidance. 

This course will teach you everything you need to know to set up your own SMP business

I work less than ever before, which has allowed me to slow down, enjoy more self-care and spend more time with family and friends. 

What happens after the training? 

I offer a free 'Check in' zoom call where we can discuss new questions you have as well as just a general catch up on mindset as a new business owner. 

I will add you to our supportive student WhatsApp group where you can get to know other EJ graduates. This group is to empower one another and help you stay connected whilst your business grows. 

You will have on going support from me. Voice notes and messages as and when you need. 

There is an option to shadow me in the future. As your awareness and skillset evolves you may want to 'shadow' to gain new insight and build more confidence in your technique.

Are there any hand outs to refer back too? 
There is an informative workbook included in the course which you can refer back to as you start taking on your own paying clients. 

How long did it take you to get your first client? 
In less than 1 week I had my first paying model! That client referred two others and business continued from there. I set assignments each day and support you in announcing your new business which will start attracting potential clients. 

Did you run SMP alongside a 9-5 job?
Yes! It was whilst on maternity leave that I decided to train in SMP, but it soon became clear that I could make this my sole income and so I made the decision to quit my role in employment and take on the world of owning my own business.
